Personal Hygiene – Your Bathroom Bidet

A bathroom or washroom commonly is a room, usually in a residential structure or other private home, that includes either a sink or a separate shower. The addition of a wash basin in the bathroom is quite common. Showers are designed for a variety of uses and there is no right or wrong way to have them. Depending on your personal preferences and style you can have a shower that is designed for relaxation, one that is designed for your children to play in without falling out, a luxury shower that has a steam kit that will produce steam for you while you wash yourself or a normal shower that simply provides a warm water source for you to wash and keep yourself hygienic.

Shower or Bath: the basic unit that makes up a bathroom is the shower/bath. They are built in a basin that holds the water and a tap or two within them to give you your daily wash. The shower/bath will usually be made from a material such as marble, granite, glass etc, with chrome fittings and some being hand crafted or fitted with fine crystal. A popular choice is to incorporate a sink into your shower/bath. Some people use separate fixtures but many times it is combined.

Bathroom or toilet: the toilet is the main unit in the bathroom. It is designed to provide you with a place to wash and sometimes using it will provide you with a place to ‘go’ to the bathroom. The toilet can range from a basic, simple single door design to something more complex depending on your needs, the majority of modern toilets are fitted with a back-up loo.

Bathroom or Kitchen: a modern bathroom can come with a kitchen area built in, this can be the place to cook all your food, this area can be designed into a utility room or it can be incorporated into your new bathroom. In most modern homes the kitchen area incorporates a sink, microwave, hob and other cooking/utility devices. You can use this space to create your dream kitchen, or simply make the best use of the space you have. You could combine the two areas if you have the space for it and create a small eating/cooking area.

Shopping for your new personal hygiene products will soon become a routine and you will want to try out everything you can to find your perfect items. Most products have a wide price range and you may be surprised what you end up choosing. Most of the products are made from high quality materials that will last for years to come; therefore if you are not prepared to spend a lot of money you should not worry, there is no need to compromise on your personal hygiene.

In addition to the above you will also need to consider plumbing and fittings before you make any purchases. For example, a new sink should be commensurate with the size of the basin, bath and toilet that you decide to fit. As mentioned earlier, you want to choose your bathroom bidet according to its function rather than the make. A hand held bidet is generally smaller than a stand alone bidet and generally requires a minimum of two people to use it. However, it is important to note that there are also hand held bidets available for larger areas, and therefore you may find that your needs require a larger bidet.
